Do not miss the visit of Palazzo Chigi and its park, a few steps from our house. Its interiors are still perfectly preserved and the ancient park sung by D'Annunzio as "the last fragment of the Nemus Aricinum, sacred to Diana" is splendid. The Collegiata Maria SS Assunta in Cielo, the latest masterpiece by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who designed every detail, including the furnishings. The Sanctuary of Galloro, again with interventions by Bernini and other famous artists.The cultural life of Ariccia is animated by shows in the Bernini theater and concerts in the Palazzo Chigi. In summer it is enlivened by outdoor shows and the famous Porchetta Festival takes place on the first weekend of September.
